"It's important that our local artists contribute to such important outdoor spaces that reflect our local cultural heritage." Councillors Bob Inglis and Jon Hurst were also on hand to see the installation as representatives of the Citizens Cemetery Advisory Commit- tee. The cemetery works are part of an overall program overseen by the Town as part of its role in cemetery services. A Cemetery Guide is available to residents to explain interment op- tions, pricing and ornamentation. Filled with photos and diagrams, the guide illustrates the various op- tions available to residents when purchasing an interment site, often in consultation with local funeral homes. Copies of the guide are avail- able at the Civic Centre (1 Hal- ton Hills Drive, Georgetown), at local funeral homes or online at www.haltonhills.ca/cemeteries.
