Sally Stull of Eighth Line filed her nomination papers on June 19 to run for the mayor's job. In the past year, Stull has commented on the Town's Heritage Reg- ister and the Stand-Alone Aggregate Uses policy. Halton Hills Mayor Rick Bonnette filed his nomina- tion papers in May. He has held the Mayor's job since 2003, and been a member of Council since 1982. Longtime Wards 3&4 Regional Councillor Jane Fogal filed nomination pa- pers Monday to seek re-election in the Oct. 27 municipal election. Fogal has held this job since 2003, and has been a member of council since 1997. The meeting will begin at the regu- lar time-- 6:30 p.m. He said council is looking forward to hosting the meeting at Acton Town Hall Centre, which has been refurbished and is a fully accessible facility. Council meeting to move to Acton July 7 Three Georgetown men are charged in connection with a break and enter into a shed at Symposium Restaurant on Guelph St. Police say about 1:30 a.m. Monday an employee of the restaurant saw three peo- ple attempting to break into the rear shed where the empty beer kegs are stored and called police. The trio fled on foot when the employee interrupted them. Police responded and located three suspects a short time later. Charged with break and enter and commit theft are Aaron Bell, 26, Bailey Collins, 18, and Christopher Cordeiro, 28, all of Georgetown.
