DivorceCare is helpful for any indi- viduals who find themselves separated, divorced or experiencing the end of a long- term relationship. "A major difference we experience in re- lationships is that when a loved one passes away those close to us unite and we all grow closer together but when facing sepa- ration or divorce our loved ones feel pres- sured to take a side," says Gary, one of the DivorceCare facilitators. "This tension creates a great deal of stress. In fact many of our participants tell me that they are experiencing the most pain and stress they have ever faced. We of- fer a safe place where our participants can begin to deal with their pain and stress." DivorceCare is an internationally recog- nized Christ-centered support group. The DivorceCare group meets from 7-9 p.m. weekly for 13 weeks. The material covered in each session is independent from the previous week, meaning that participants can join the program any Thursday night during the 13 weeks. The support group is led by people who understand what partic- ipants are going through and are there to help each participant discover true healing. For meeting location information or to register for the program please call Leslie at 905 873-0250 ext. 113 weekdays between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. or e-mail leslie@george- townalliance.ca DivorceCare sessions begin next week INGLEWOOD SCHOOLHOUSE PERFORMERS Open House/ Audition Opportunities Sunday, Sept. 14, 2-4 pm, Inglewood Community Centre The Inglewood Schoolhouse Performers needs Amateur Actors and backstage help (ages 16 and over) for its Spring 2015 production.
