Laurels for local senior A local resident was recognized for her commitment to the community when she received the Ontario Senior of the Year Award at the Civic Centre recently. Mayor Rick Bonnette presented Car- olyn Martin with the award, which is handed out by Ontario municipalities, honouring outstanding local seniors who have enriched the social, cultural or civic life of their community.
