Strong municipal leadership is essential to Halton Hills. I have the energy, experience and proven leadership to face future challenges head on. We have seen a lot of investment in Halton Hills, two million sq. ft. of Industrial/commercial space increasing our tax base while creating over 2,000 jobs. I want to continue this momentum. We have addressed the ice rink shortage and supported the hospital expansion to name a few. Halton Hills council is in the forefront, na- tionally, opposing the U.S.A.'s protectionism policy wanting free trade to be fair trade. I want to continue to encourage economic prosperity, cultural vibrancy, healthy en- vironment and strong social well being. I want to see the legislated 1,000 acres devel- oped in a positive way. I want to continue to advocate for the all-day GO service and for our seniors. I am experienced, responsive and decisive. Halton Hills has been our family home for the past 23 years--a community that encompasses both ur- ban and rural landscapes. And it's a community that will be facing increasing pressures and challenges in the future. As a professional planner with 28 years experience in both urban (the Town of Oakville) and rural (Town of Erin) municipalities, I bring credible professional experiences, fresh eyes and a new per- spective to help shepherd our community forward.
