Photo by Michael Ivanin/Metroland Media Group Raiders suffer first road defeat Ex-Raiders land jobs in pro leagues A brilliant 47-save performance by Orangeville Flyers' netminder Wyatt Pickrell resulted in just the second regu- lation loss for the Georgetown Raid- ers, a 2-1 decision in an Ontario Junior Hockey League contest Sunday. The visiting Raiders outshot the hosts 48-20 in a matchup of the top two West Division teams, who are now tied at 24 points for first place in the divi- sion, although Georgetown holds four games in hand. The loss marked a number of firsts for the 11-2-2 Raiders this season. It was the team's only loss away from home and the first time that the league's leading scorer, Steve Hladin, was held off the scoresheet. Superb rookie net- minder Jack Lafontaine also took his first loss against five victories this fall.
