The Halton District School Board of Trustees has therefore requested, by motion, that Gardiner Public School students, staff and parents and the Georgetown community be consulted regarding this potential name change. Ethel Gardiner was a former Halton District School Board teacher (1967-1995), trustee for the Georgetown community (1995-2006) and was elected as Chair of the Board for six consecutive years (1998-2003). All members of the school and Georgetown community are encouraged to provide input online at gardinerps-renaming@hdsb.ca by December 1, 2014.gardinerps-r Chair of the Board Kelly Amos Director of Education David Euale It's that time again folks-- Christmas is just around the corner! But fear not, the Credit Valley Artisans Christmas Show and Sale is happening this week- end, Saturday Nov. 22, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 23, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visit Cedarvale Cottage in Cedarvale Park at the corner of Main St. and Maple Ave. and see the best that CVA members have produced throughout the year. You can buy fine craft and art pieces made by local people-- pieces that were created solely for the love of making them. CVA's four guilds-- Stained Glass, Pot- tery, Handweaving, Drawing and Painting-- have created exciting new works and this year will be joined by exciting new jewelry pieces and more. Why go out of town when unique, one of a kind gifts are available right here? The CVA has been going strong now for nearly 40 years. This not- for-profit organization fosters cre- ativity in all who pass through the doors of the little old cottage on the hill. It's a friendly place that in addi- tion to the once a year sale, offers many courses to the public to engage and de- light people of all ages.
