Busse replaces Dr. Don Trant who retired in September. Busse has been a member of the profes- sional staff at HHS for the past 13 years dur- ing which time he was an emergency physi- cian at Georgetown Hospital. He obtained his Medical Degree from McMaster University in 1998 and completed his residency in Family Medicine/ER at Queen's University, graduat- ing in 2001. Busse became Director of Emergency Ser- vices at Georgetown Hospital in 2006, and has played an integral role in the design and functionality of the recent GH Redevelopment Project which significantly expanded the hos- pital's Emergency Department.
