Join Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim and the ultimate Christmas baddie, Ebenezer Scrooge, for an evening of mu- sic and a dramatic reading of Charles Dickens' classic, A Christmas Carol. The St. Alban's Choir and local musicians will lead the music. St. Al- ban's rector Fr. Aaron Orear, a professional stage actor before entering the priesthood, comes out of retirement to give life to Dickens' cast of co- lourful characters. To complete the festive mood, Christmas sweets and cider will be offered after the performance. Admission is free but donations to St. Alban's outreach will be gladly received, in the spirit of the holidays, to support local chari- table groups. Seating is on a first-come basis. The Blues at Christmas: featuring the Wa- terdown Blues Band, 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13 at St. Paul's Anglican Church Parish Hall, 16 Adamson St., Norval.
