NEWS THE KINSMEN CLUB OF GEORGETOWN: took time out from their Christmas tree sales at the inter- section of Edward and Guelph Streets to spread some holiday cheer. Here, they presented Bryan Whitteker, the winner of the grand prize of a wine cooler (donated by Canadian Tire) and $800 in LCBO gift certificates from the recent Kinsmen raffle, with his booty. They also took the opportunity to present a donation of $1,900 to the Georgetown Bread Basket. Pictured (from left to right) are Kinsmen President Chris Haid, winner Bryan Whitteker, Don Burt of the Bread Basket and Kinsmen Steve Frost. The Kinsmen are Santa's helpers this year, selling Fraser firs for $50 and Balsam firs for $40, tax included. All proceeds from the sales go to various Kinsmen projects, which benefit the community's greatest needs. Come early for the best selection. The lot is open during weekday eve- nings from 6-8:30 p.m. and on weekends from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Photo by Bruce Leonard
