Hein Litigation Lawyer LITIGATIONlegal matters Who are you, and what do you do? As this is my first article, I thought I would introduce myself to you. I live in Georgetown with my family. We have enjoyed living here for more than 12 years. It is a great community, with excellent schools. My office is in Brampton, so it is an easy commute. However, I quite often meet clients locally in Georgetown so they do not have to trek to my office. I am also a proud member of B2C -- Business To Community, a networking group that meets weekly in Georgetown. B2C has done some great things for our community, including volunteering at the Car Show and the Big Daddy festival, and raising and donating money to the Georgetown Hospital, CASHH, Food4Kids, and Hayden's Rebicycling among others. Check us out at www.georgetownb2c.com. As for what I do...I am a litigator, or litigation lawyer. That means I am a lawyer who goes to court. My work as a litigation lawyer is quite varied. My practice includes civil and commercial litigation, family law, employment law, product liability, and personal injury matters. While I am quite often retained to take court action or defend a matter, I am also retained to help people or businesses before their matter ends up "in litigation". If possible, I will try to investigate the matter and negotiate a resolution. Certainly, it is quite often better to settle matters, and the earlier the better. It is only if parties cannot resolve matters amicably that a situation will end up in court.While I do litigation, my firm is a full service firm with other services including real estate, wills & estates, and corporate and commercial matters.
