Photo by Eamonn Maher On Tuesday, Feb. 24, the men's group had a very successful meeting. Twenty-five men enjoyed a light breakfast. The guest speaker was Gabriella Klosak. She is an Anti-Counterfeiting and Intel- lectual Property Investigator and talked about her experiences in this field. The next breakfast meet- ing will be on Tuesday, March 24 at 9:30 a.m. The signup sheet is at reception. The Monday morning craft group have asked me to mention they will be taking a break until Monday, April 13. If you enjoy crocheting, they are hoping you will join them to help create some in- teresting projects for the Spring Bazaar. On Friday, March 6 at 7 p.m. we will be having an old fashion sing-along. And on Saturday, March 7 you can join us for Bingo starting at 7 p.m. Registration started on March 4 for the Active Living classes. If you are interested in Easy does it, Bone builder, Zumba, Let's get Active, or Tai Chi, register quickly. If there isn't enough interest, the classes will be cancelled. Did you know that if you are a member of either Centre you will receive a 25% discount in the Active Living classes held at either Centre? Lunch on Friday, March 13 will be hot dogs and beans. If you enjoy playing euchre, we will have our monthly Evening Euchre on March 17, 7- 9 p.m. We will be holding a St Paddy's Party on March 18 and enjoy Irish stew. Following dinner Michael Kelly Cavan will be entertaining us and you will be able to dance off some of the food. Don't dance? Then come and enjoy listening to his beautiful voice. A great party whichever way you enjoy it. If you feel you would like to volunteer occasionally at the Centre we are looking for help setting up and serving at the social dinners once a month. Let Bev Jones know if you would like more information. We were saddened to hear that Ron Neilson with Juke Box passed away last week. We will miss him. He and his wife Betty entertained us at many social events. By Julie Conroy Hillsview Active Living Centre- Acton Active Living Centre-Acton to host sing-along on Friday
