Police say based on security footage the TVs-- a Samsung and RCA-- valued at $1,089, were taken March 2 when a woman is seen pushing out the TVs in a cart without paying for them. The suspect is described as white, heavy-set and in her 30s. MAN CHARGED A Mississauga man was charged after police stopped a vehicle on Guelph St. near Sinclair Ave. about 12:44 a.m. Wednesday (Mar. 18). Charged with having over 80 mg of alcohol in 100 ml of blood is Craig McCur- rie, 31. SKUNK ROAMING PROMPTS HHFD CALL Halton Hills firefighters responded to an unknown odour investigation on Roane Av- enue about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday (March 10). On scene, crews met with the homeowner who advised that there was an odour in the house. It was evident that the odour was that of a skunk. The homeowner had the rear window open all night and there were signs of an animal moving around in the back- yard. No further action was required. STOVE BREAKER SPARKS Halton Hills firefighters responded to an alarm activation on Irwin Cr. last Monday (March 9) about 9:45 a.m. On scene crews met with the homeowner who advised that the stove breaker had kicked out and when reset the outlet where the stove was connect- ed sparked badly. Fire staff checked the walls and found heat in the area of the outlet. The breakers were confirmed off and the home- owner was advised to contact an electrician and not to use the stove until both the circuit and the stove were inspected.
