The 5-foot-6, 12-year-old Drake played defence for the Halton minor peewee AAA Hurricanes this season. Approximately 300 players auditioned for the East Coast Selects-O at a tryout held on New Year's Day in Amherst, N.Y., and even though Drake wasn't able to suit up because of a broken arm suf- fered while playing with the Hurricanes, he was se- lected for the final roster. Drake needs to raise approximately $4,000 for the cost of the trip and has a bottle drive slated to take place this Saturday.
