HOUSE FIRE: Crews from the Halton Hills Fire Department attended to a blaze in a detached home on Dawson Cres. in Georgetown late Thursday afternoon. There were no reported injuries. The fire was believed to have started in the garage just before 5 p.m. and had spread into the house, located just off Delrex Blvd. near Mountainview Rd., before being knocked down by firefighters. HHFD Deputy Chief of Prevention & Public Education Harry Olivieri said yesterday that damage is estimated at $95,000, and the cause is still under investigation.
