This annual food drive has been going on since the Foodshare food bank opened in 1990. The youth groups have been active from the beginning and look forward to picking up the community do- nations. Donations of food will be picked up in Acton and Limehouse on the Saturday morning starting about 9 a.m. Cash donations will also be accepted with charita- ble donation tax receipts given for donations of $20 and over-- donors are requested to supply their name and address. An up-to-date list of most needed items can be found on the food bank website, www. actonfoodshare.com If your donation is not picked up by 1 p.m., please call the food bank at 519-853-0457 to make arrangements for pick-up or drop-off at Bethel Christian Reform Church during the morning. Your dona- tion can also be brought into the Foodshare on Tuesday, April 14 between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. It would be appreciated if do- nors would check the best before dates on food items before donating. High school students wishing to gain com- munity volunteer hours) and others wishing to volunteer to sort food on the morning of April 11 can contact the Foodshare to make arrangements.
