WARD 1 & 2 REGIONAL COUNCILLOR Councillor Clark Somerville was acclaimed. He spent $100 on the nomination filing fee, which was refunded. WARDS 3 & 4 REGIONAL COUNCILLOR Councillor Jane Fogal had $3,775 in contributions and $3,136 in expenses. She contrib- uted $2,625 and had business contributions from Maple Lodge Farms ($400), and McNally Ltd. ($300). Ross McDuff had $185 in con- tributions and spent $618 on the campaign. He had an individual contribution (more than $100) and McDuff contributed $433 to the campaign. John Cooke received $3,604 in contributions and spent $3,345 on the campaign. He had two in- dividual contributors (more than $100) and he contributed $2,579 to the campaign. Victoria Colby stated her con- tributions were $4,000, and total expenses were $3,971. She con- tributed $4,000 and received a contribution of service for website design. WARD 1 Councillor Michael O'Leary stated he had $750 in campaign contributions and spent $1,361. Businesses that contributed were Dolliver Surveying Inc. ($200), and Mattamy Homes Ltd. ($450). O'Leary contributed $350 to his campaign and had an individual contributor (more than $100). Councillor Jon Hurst received $1,199 in contributions, and spent $1,299. He contributed the full amount himself and had no other contributions. Geoff Maltby received $1,011 in contributions and spent $1,081. He contributed $1,296 and his spouse $154. Robert Bedard had $2,115 in contributions and spent $2,215. He contributed $1,815 and re- ceived contributions (not exceed- ing $100 per contributor) totaling $300. David George Hyde reported he didn't receive any contribu- tions and his only expense was the $100 nomination fee. WARD 2 Councillor Bryan Lewis had $3,254 in contributions and spent $3,359. He contributed $1,744, his spouse $1,160 and he received a $350 contribution in services for card design. Councillor Ted Brown had $2,493 in contributions and spent $2,576 (including the nomination fee). He contributed $2,493 to the campaign himself, and had no other contributions. He ended up with a small refund from his con- tribution. Philip Lewin had $3,859 in contributions and spent $3,959 (including nomination fee). He contributed $3,928 to the cam- paign and the difference was re- turned to him. Rob Boleychuk had $1,250 in contributions and spent $1,270 (including $100 fee). He contrib- uted $1,250, with the difference refunded. WARD 3 Councillor Dave Kentner was the biggest spender in the Ward 3 contest. He had $7,294 in contributions and spent $9,869. He had individual contributors, goods and services contributions, and received business contribu- tions from: Maple Lodge Farms ($400), Your Hometown Realty Inc. ($250), Applied Wiring As- semblies Inc. ($350), Apple King Norval Inc. ($400), and Moun- tainview Residence Inc. ($400). Kentner contributed $2,514. Councilllor Moya Johnson had $4,520 in contributions and spent $3,457. Johnson received $400 from Maple Lodge Farms and contributed $4,020 herself. The difference was refunded to her. David Sands reported $692 in contributions and spent $792 on the campaign. He was the only contributor. Josef Jones had $3,077 in con- tributions, and spent $3,166. He had an individual contribution, a services contribution for ad design, and a $500 contribution from Ruso Salons Inc. Jones con- tributed $1,727. Robert Demille had $4,237 in contributions and expenses were $4,326. He had individual contri- butions, goods/services contribu- tions, and business contributions of $750 from Darryl R. Demille In- surance Agency Ltd. ($750), and from Century 21 ($200). Demille contributed $185 to his campaign. Syl Carle reported he had $100 in contributions (his contribu- tion) and spent $23 on the cam- paign. WARD 4 Councillor Ann Lawlor had $4,677 in campaign contributions and $4,721 in campaign expens- es. A business contribution came from Maple Lodge Farms ($400). She also had individual contribu- tions and contributed $2,727 her- self. Councillor Bob Inglis had $4,811 in contributions and spent $4,911. Maple Lodge Farms ($400) contributed to the campaign, he had individual contributions and he contributed $3,364. Waldo Paquete had $3,854 in contributions and reported total expenses subject to the spending limit were $4,204. He contributed $3,900 and had a goods/services contribution for Internet and de- sign. Noel Duignan had $1,200 in contributions and expenses were $1,202. He received individual contributions and put in $750 from his own pocket. SCHOOL BOARDS Halton District School Board (HDSB) Trustee Jeanne Gray, who won her seat, had $3,634 in contributions and spent $3,734. She contributed $3,134 and re- ceived a goods/services contribu- tion for design of her campaign brochure. HDSB trustee candidate Al- ice Strachan had $1,593 in con- tributions and spent $1,693 on the campaign. She contributed $1,700 with the difference returned. Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) Trustee Mark Rowe had $1,847 in contri- butions and spent $1,947. He had individual contributors and con- tributed $747 himself. HCDSB candidate Ante Skoko had $3,515 in contribu- tions and expenses of $2,868. He contributed $1,300, had individu- al contributors and business con- tributions from Canadian Busi- ness Forms ($100) and In2ition Realty ($500).
