About a thousand pounds-- or 750 lobsters-- were cooked up for the sold-out fundraiser. A final tally of how much was raised hadn't been tabulated as of Monday, but the Kiwanis needs to raise $40,000 to fulfill its $70,000 pledge for a donation to the Georgetown Hospital Foundation to help pay for the recent expansion.
