Proceeds from the event will go to Cystic Fibro- sis Canada. Local dance studios will provide choreo- graphed dances and The Next Step actress Cierra Healey has been scheduled to perform, and will also be doing a meet and greet with fans during intermission. A flash mob in the audience is also planned. Sherratt, a Georgetown resident and a second year Queen's University student, says, "I am very passionate about making a difference in the lives of others no matter how big or small, and I wish to pursue a career in medicine. I hope that this event motivates individuals in the community to dis- cover what they are passionate about and start to make a change." Khalil, also a Queen's University student, says, "I was unaware of Cystic Fibrosis... and I was sur- prised by how unaware I was towards the devas- tating disease and the impact it had on individuals and their families." Sponsors are needed to offset the cost of the producing the show. Interested businesses should contact Sherratt, 416-333-3886, nsherratt@hot- mail.com. Tickets for Dancerama go on sale June 27: adults $12, children and seniors, $7.
