Halton Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred at Nashville North early Friday morn- ing. Police were at the Norval bar about 2:30 a.m. investigating another matter when they were alerted to a number of disturbances occurring in and around the nightclub. At one point, police were approached by a man with visible stab wounds, who indicated he had been stabbed during an altercation. The man was taken by ambulance to Sunny- brook Hospital in Toronto with serious injuries and is expected to survive. Police investigation has determined the stabbing occurred inside the bar after a fight be- tween several people, including the victim and suspect, erupted. Following the fight, security staff removed the people involved from the bar.
