At about 2:30 a.m. Halton Regional Police offi- cers who were at the Norval bar on another investi- gation were approached by a man who had visible stab wounds and said he had been stabbed during an altercation. Police said investigation into the incident de- termined the stabbing occurred inside the bar after a fight had erupted between several people, including the victim and suspect. Folllowing the fight, security officers had removed those involved from the bar. Police had been looking for a suspect and on Monday located and arrested a man in Brampton. Officers conducted a search of two vehicles and a Brampton residence and seized items police re- port were allegedly involved in the incident. Charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, carry con- cealed weapon, fail to comply with recognizance and drive motor vehicle while disqualified is Treece Anthony Simpson, 25.
