The local athletes in seven different life- saving events hauled in provincial podium finishes, shattering their personal best times. Jordan Stott and Dominic Vulpoi each won recognition as the top athlete in their respective age groups, while Daniel Stott, Noah Farragos and Danielle Taran each took third place overall in their categories. Elise Malicki, Ben Holcomb and Lucas Farragos, among others, all contributed to the team's strong overall finish by swimming to person- al best times. The club also turned in strong relay per- formances, with the girls' team finishing first in the 200m medley relay and the boys fin- ishing second in the 100m medley relay and third in the 200m medley relay. "The Halton Hills Lifeguard Club is an exciting way for youth to stay active, learn a new sport and be part of a team. I congratu- late all these young athletes and their fami- lies on representing our community so well on the provincial level," said Halton Hills Mayor Rick Bonnette.
