On Saturday, July 4, at 7:20 a.m. firefight- ers responded to the report of a dumpster on fire on Deer Run Crescent. Halton Regional Police were on scene upon arrival where a large garbage bin was found on fire. The dumpster was next to a garage and a large propane tank. The homeowner was using a garden hose to try and get the fire under control. Agent was applied and debris was pulled from the dumpster to assist with the extin- guishment. Once the fire was knocked down staff blanketed the bin and debris with foam. On Sunday, July 5, at 3:45 p.m. firefighters responded to the report of a dumpster fire in the area of Danby and Mountainview Roads. Halton Regional Police were on scene upon arrival. Crews knocked the fire down and assist- ed site personnel with the overhaul.
