Father Dave Pelvin spoke to The Independent from the family's Brampton home and recounted the brief moment that turned a happy outing into a downright scary one. "When they were at the splash park they ended up sitting on a nearby rock area to get some shade. About five feet away from the rock area is that metal door. Greyson was grazing around there and went over to check out the shiny door and stepped on it," he said. "They were right beside him, so they picked him up to see why he was upset. The bottoms of his feet were shrivelled up.... They said it looked like a piece of bacon when you put it on a frying pan." Greyson was rushed to George- town Hospital and then transferred to Sick Kids, where he underwent surgery. He was scheduled for a second surgery yesterday and was expected to be released after- wards, Dave said. Despite the incident, Dave said the family has no hard feelings to- ward the Town of Halton Hills.
