You posses: • Completed post-secondary studies in Recreation or related fields, or equivalent • Over 3 years of experience coordinating aquatic programs in a municipal setting • Current NLS Examiner, Instructor Trainer - Swim and Lifesaving Instructor, First aid Examiner (or working towards achieving certifications) • Aquatic Supervisor Instructor, Coach 1 trainer, HIGH FIVE® Principles of Child Development, Quest Evaluator and Aquafitness certifications are preferred • Valid Ontario Driver's Licence (Class G) with access to personal vehicle for Town business • Proven leadership skills; superior verbal/written skills, communication, public relations, problem solving and inter-personal skills • Experience working with community groups, elected officials, the media and the general public • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) as well as program registration, facility scheduling, data and financial management software Qualified candidates may submit a detailed cover letter and resume in confidence to the undersigned by 4:30 p.m., August 14, 2015. The Tour date is Sunday, Aug. 9. New this year they will be staging from both the Hide House Parking Lot in Acton and from the Halton Hills Civic Centre. The group starting in Acton will ride to the Halton Hills Civic Centre and join with those starting there. The ride will travel through the beautiful back roads of Halton Hills via the quaint village of Limehouse. There will be no road closures for this ride. This is a recreational ride but does involve some challenging hills as the route progress- es up the Niagara Escarpment to Acton. Riders will be divided into groups de- pending on average speed of cycling. Please arrive early in order to sign the waiver, get in- structions and be organized into groups. There are two routes, a 22-km round trip and a more challenging 50-km advanced route. Once at the festival, leave your bike in the secure, free bike valet parking area and then take some time to enjoy the sites and tastes of the Leathertown Festival.
