The incident occurred in an S-curve on 5 Sideroad, just east of Tra- falgar Rd. at around 3:30 p.m. Traffic in the area was reduced to one lane for about an hour as Halton Regional Police, firefighters and an ambulance attended the scene. Photo by Eamonn Maher Motorists in Halton Hills can expect some traffic tie-ups Friday, possibly around the noon hour, as a pre-fabri- cated bridge will be transported to Ce- darvale Park, where it will replace an old bridge near the community centre. Norval-based S&S Transport has been tasked with moving the 25-foot- wide bridge from its manufacturer in Barrie Friday morning. Headed up by a Halton Regional Police escort, the bridge will travel along Hwy. 407 to Oakville and then head north up Trafalgar Rd. into Georgetown. From there, the bridge will travel eastward along Maple Ave. to the Main St. intersection at Cedarvale Park. NEWS Expect some traffic tie-ups on Friday On Sunday, Halton Hills Fire Dept. responded to a burn complaint in the area of Sixth Line, north of Highway 7, where it was reported that inappropriate material was being burnt. On arrival crews found a smouldering fire in a burn pit from its use the night before. It was fur- ther noted there was no valid permit for this address. No inappropriate material was found and the fire was extinguished. Burn permit requirements were explained. BURN COMPLAINT
