OPP and Halton Regional Police helped escort the 17x56-foot bridge along Hwy. 407 to Trafalgar Rd., then north to Maple Ave. in Halton Hills before reaching its destination just off Main St. The trip was delayed briefly by thunder- storms Friday morning but arrived around noon, three hours after leaving Barrie. The new bridge was put into place this week.
