Brooklynn, who has been growing her hair since 2012, had a childhood friend named Kenzie who became sick with cancer. Brooklynn would send her "get well" cards and visit her in the hospital. Brooklynn was inspired by Kenzie to grow out her hair as Kenzie had lost all of hers. Brooklynn donated her hair to Locks of Love, an organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvan- taged children, who have suffered a hair loss from a medical condition. Submitted photo
