Continued from page 26 SNOWBIRDS FLY OVER NORTH HALTON: The inaugural Veterans Helping Veterans golf tournament began with plenty of excitement Thursday -- as the famed Snowbirds did a flyover of Granite Ridge Golf Club, on the border of Milton and Halton Hills. Organized by Fred Smith -- who's spent years helping veterans overcome drug abuse and PTSD -- the tournament also featured a visit from sports broadcaster Ron MacLean, who served as emcee. Veterans from all branches of the military took part in the first annual event.
