Georgetown's local restaurants Latitude Food & Drink and Uncorked on Main are signing up to share that flavour. The Georgetown Craft Beer Festival is intro- ducing Latitude and Uncorked to Milton's own Orange Snail Brewers and the newly-developed Elora Brewing Company to encourage inter- community connections and the support of grass-roots businesses. Latitude Food and Drink is a trendy restau- rant in downtown Georgetown that uses local in- gredients to produce unique local flavours. Well- experienced in wine tasting and pairing, Latitude is starting to break onto the craft beer scene. When they heard about Head for the Hills, Latitude was excited by the exposure to new breweries, such as Orange Snail and Elora. Lati- tude is confident that by adding more craft brew- eries they can feature a Craft Beer menu on-site that highlights beer and food pairings. In the two weeks leading up to the festival, Latitude will offer specials that are beer-friendly, showing Georgetown that they are ready for the craft beer boom and are in it for the long haul. Uncorked on Main combines great drinks, local food, and live music to create a modern atmosphere in Georgetown. No stranger to the craft beer scene, Uncorked offers Wellington, Steamwhistle, Sawdust, Beau's, Mill St., Kawartha Lakes, and Bayside brews. As the name suggests, Uncorked specializes in wines and hand-crafted cocktails, but wants to do even more to sup- port the craft breweries budding in Ontario. On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday for the next two weeks Uncorked will be featuring breweries from across Ontario, providing sample flights of craft beer and suggested food pairings. As far as folks at Uncorked are concerned, the sky's the limit for adding new craft breweries to their roster. Orange Snail Brewers and Elora Brewing Company are the first to join the conversation with Georgetown's Latitude and Uncorked. Or- ange Snail Brewers is a small craft brewery in Milton. From hops to pumpkins, Orange Snail beer is a uniquely local product. Elora Brewing Company is a new brewery focused on exploring the creative relationship between food and craft beer. Building long-term community connections and supporting small businesses both in and out of town is a top priority of the Georgetown Craft Beer Festival.
