Photo by Jon Borgstrom The campaign by the Halton Hills Arena Users Group to raise dollars for the two new ice surfac- es and upgrades at the Mold-Masters SportsPlex and for the expansion and addition of a second NHL-sized ice pad at the Acton Arena has just passed $2 million, more than 90 per cent of the $2.2 million target. The Grand Opening of the Acton Arena ice pad is targeted for Nov. 30. The Acton Arena twinning is the final project of the overall arena expansion initiative for the Town of Halton Hills. The campaign is offering various additional naming opportunities: 302 seats are still avail- able (168 in Acton) for naming for a donation of $500.
