BUSINESS Marnie Hughes to lead Chamber board of directors for 2015-16 Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce delegates voted in the new 2015-16 Board of Directors at its annual gen- eral meeting. Leading the Board will be Chair Marnie Hughes. She started Com- munication Artistry more than 10 years ago and has developed the business to provide not only writing services, but also project manage- ment and marketing communica- tions services. Hughes published her first book in 2013. In addition to working with the Chamber MarCom team to pro- duce the Chamber's weekly blog, Hughes enjoys volunteering with seniors and has been a part of the Links2Care Friendly Visitor program for 10 years. Hughes also spent sever- al years training in karate and earned her black belt from Rampulla's Mar- tial Arts in 2011. "Halton Hills Chamber of Com- merce leads and services the busi- ness community providing the means, resources and opportunities for you to successfully meet your needs, build purposeful relation- ships and participate in activities and functions to ensure your long- term growth and sustainability," said Hughes.
