Kittens were born shortly after her rescue and the feline family were safe and well cared for. Tiger Lilly and her five kittens were surrendered to NHKR by their bene- factress to ensure they were spayed or neutered before finding new homes. The "happily ever af- ter" story will be complete when Tiger Lilly and her kittens are adopted into loving families. Tiger Lilly is an affectionate sweet girl; she adores people and enjoys their company. She snuggles at night and cuddles beside people, but she only stays in laps for brief visits, (with patience she could become a lap cat). Tiger Lilly greets strangers without fuss and accepts affection from anyone. She enjoys being picked up and held, which makes clipping nails easy. Tiger Lilly has a friendly agreeable personality! She would love to be the centre of attention in a multiple person family and a busy home would suit her just fine. Loud noises and commotion do not bother her and children do not frighten her. She does not like the company of other felines and would prefer a home without a dog. By Barb Johnson info@nhkr.ca Tiger Lilly loves people Norm certainly makes his mark wherever he is; first of all he is handsome and energy bursts from every pore. Norm has been labeled as a three-year- old Cur/Catahoula mix; black and brindle and tip- ping the scales at 30 lbs. Norm is housebroken, gets along with dogs, could manage children over 10 years of age and although high energy off leash is relatively easy to walk leashed. Norm thrives on high speed playing with other dogs and would do well in a home with a companion equally in love with exercise. Despite of the fact that Norm has had three homes in his three years of life (one on a farm) and being sur- rendered through family lifestyle changes; he is a happy boy, and is very accepting of people. A large, fenced property which would meet his exercise needs and therefore keep him stress-free and happy would be ideal; as a jogging partner Norm would excel. It should be noted that Norm, though a mix, shows many Catahoula traits. Catahoula dogs are highly intelligent and energetic; usually even-tem- pered and although happy with a job, make good family dogs as long as they are not isolated; inter- action with family on a daily basis is a prerequisite for a happy life. Catahoulas are natural alarm dogs; and will alert family to any perceived approach so this does not make them particularly welcomed in suburbia. We are confident that Norm in the right home, with a family who has taken time to check out the breed mix and are willing to bring Norm to his po- tential will have a great dog. Lily is as pretty as her name; surrendered in March 2015 at just under a year of age because the family could not longer afford her care; Lily is now 17 months old. Lily has an easygoing nature and her love for and enjoyment of any human that comes her way. Lily is an energetic girl; she has a great penchant for boxes and loves chasing balls! She is quite the "ham" and makes Staff laugh at her antics and she certainly exercises in the cat trees, often hanging upside down in them, as she demonstrated when being photographed.
