December 1, 2015 til February 29, 2016 COMMUNITY St. Alban's offering free dinner on Christmas Day For the eighth year in a row, St. Alban's church in Glen Williams will be hosting a free Community Christmas Dinner on Christmas Day. The purpose is to welcome any and all who have limited opportunity to share dinner, compan- ionship and the spirit of Christmas with oth- ers. It also provides an opportunity for those less fortunate to re- ceive a hearty meal served with friendship and laughter. There is no charge for the guests attending. Everything is made pos- sible by donations and helping hands from the church congregation and the broader community. Guests arrive starting at about 12:30 p.m. and dinner is served in the Hall at about 1 p.m. To attend as a guest: If you or someone you know would like to attend, please con- tact Marjory Bailie at 905-702-2557. If there is no answer, please leave a brief message indi- cating your name, a contact phone number, the number of persons likely to attend, and whether transporta- tion is needed. To provide help: If you are interested in helping out, St. Alban's welcomes donations of Christmas food (e.g. turkeys, vegetables, desserts, treats etc.) and helping hands (young and old) both before and on the day of the dinner. If you would like to volunteer (e.g. cooking, serving, cleanup), there are tasks for setup the day before, cooking & serving on Christmas day, plus cleanup after dinner. To offer help in any of these areas, please call Pauline Robinson at 905-873- 6760. If there is no answer, please leave a brief message indicating: your name and a phone number.
