COMMUNITY Georgetown Chevrolet held a "Fill the Truck" food drive earlier this month complete with the Georgetown Seniors Band providing live Christ- mas music and on the day more than 2,000 pounds of non-perishable items were collected. A thousand pounds were donated by the public and Georgetown Chevrolet matched that total, which was turned over to the Georgetown Bread Basket food bank. As well, Don Fendley and Graham Baker set up shop in the dealership's showroom with their "Loonie a Week" program for the Bread Basket and raised $2,776, with $1,000 of that total com- ing from All-Risk Insurance. More than 2,000 pounds of food and $2,776 in cash was recently collected at Georgetown Chevrolet's "Fill the Truck" event. Dr. Kevin Kwan, a urologist from Halton Healthcare and Clinical Associate Professor at McMaster Univer- sity, presented up-to-date information related to men's health including prostate cancer. Based on the positive feedback that was received, at- tendees were very impressed with the presentation and came away with a wealth of valuable information.
