Go to the Scalehouse upon arrival. Secure all open loads with a tarp or rope. Loads must be sorted by material type. Pre- sort loads for quick and easy unloading. Remove all fluids (e.g. gas, oil) from gas powered equipment such as lawnmowers. Arrange for additional assistance to help unload heavy material, if required. The Paint & Stain Reuse Depot is conveniently located beside the Household HazardousWaste Depot and is open from spring to fall. The HWMS cannot guarantee the availability of colours or quantities. Salvation Army Reuse Depot Dropoffunwanted reusable items free of charge and help the community. Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Depot Household hazardous waste can injure waste collectors and can damage the environment if disposed of improperly. Household hazardous waste must not be put in the garbage or poured down the drain. There is a 20 litre maximum per visit. No commercial hazardous waste can be accepted.
