Submitted Photo The eighth-annual 'My Sister's Pink PJ Party' fund- raiser drew more than 260 women to the Croatian Centre in Norval last Friday. The event raised more than $9,000, with all pro- ceeds going towards supporting the 'One Walk to Conquer Cancer' for the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and Cancer Assistance Services Halton Hills. Participants wore their pink pajamas, danced the night away to the music of DJ Tom Jokic from CHUM- FM, ate a delicious buffet dinner catered by La Vita Bakery and enjoyed the company of some represen- tatives from the Brampton Fire Department. Randy Melon, a long-time supporter of Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto, came to share her in- spirational story of her personal battle with breast cancer and how to live life to its fullest.
