ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT A series of afternoon classical concerts will be hosted in the Helson Gallery on the third Saturday of March, April and May at 2 p.m. The Gallery, located in the Halton Hills Cultural Centre, 9 Church St., is known for its excellent acoustics and wonderful art ex- hibits. This Saturday, March 19, harpsichordist Ron Greidanus will be joined by Baroque cellist Joel Tangierd. This talented duo will perform works of J.S. Bach, including the Vi- ola daGamba Sonatas and the well-known Solo Suite in G Major for cello. On April 16, PhD Candidate (UWO) and local talent Matthew Pope will be featured performing an all Debussy program of Pre- ludes and Etudes. Finally, on May 21, the Gallery will host Mezzo Soprano Cassandra Warner as she performs a delightful program of operatic arias and impassioned art song. Come out and support local artists and musical talent of the future. A $10 donation is suggested for the concerts. Classical music series to begin in the Helson Gallery Local pianist and harpsi- chordist Ron Greidanus will kick off a series of monthly classical concerts in the Hel- son Gallery.
