COMMUNITY The Halton Hills Camera Club hosted Jessica Finn, the Canadian Geographic photo editor at the John Elliott Theatre, Feb. 26, wrapping up the annual PhotoArt Photography contest, now in its 36th year. Finn is the Photo Editor at Canadian Geo- graphic, and an accomplished photojournalist and writer. Her work has been featured in Ca- nadian Geographic and Canadian Geographic Travel magazines, as well as by Sun Media and the Winnipeg Free Press. She is also a photog- raphy tour guide in Canada's North and has guided bear-based adventures in Churchill, Man. and the Great Bear Rainforest, B.C. Finn's engaging presentation was filled with diverse anecdotes and images, detailing her humanitarianism, scientific studies and adventure travel. The crowd also enjoyed the gallery exhibi- tion of the HHCC PhotoArt photography com- petition.
