Halton police said the farmer has a re- frigerator at the side of his home where eggs are sold to the public. It's an honour system, with a cash jar beside the refrigerator where customers put their money. But on Jan. 16 police say that money jar was stolen and weeks later, on Feb. 4, the same man is suspected of returning to steal nine cartons of eggs from the refrig- erator and cash from the jar. A surveillance camera caught it all on video and police say they have charged a man. Parminder Virk, 38, of Brampton was arrested Feb. 7 and charged with two counts of theft under $5,000.
