In Game 1 of the round robin, Noah Kearney tipped in a Kaelon Poynter slap shot with two seconds remaining in regulation in order to tie the North York Black Knights 2-2. Then in Game 2, Jack Canavan tal- lied with three seconds left in the third period to grab a 2-2 tie with Etobicoke's Faustina Fury. Canavan (2), Justin Yeo (2), Mat- thew Gormley, Evan Ribic, Massimo Scorcia and Holden Grandy scored in a less-stressful 8-0 rout of Mississau- ga's Heartland Dragons, with Caleb Challenger picking up the shutout. In the final, Halton Hills and North York were scoreless after three periods of play, forcing overtime. What began as 4-on-4 sudden death was reduced down to one skater aside and after six periods, Matthew Gorm- ley potted the winner for Halton Hills. Goalie Cavan Ryan collected the shutout and player-of-the-game ho- nours.
