Anna immigrated to Canada in 1965 with her husband and 6 children. They would come to Canada to be hard working proud Canadian farmers. Anna was known for her gentle loving spirit and willingness to help others in any situation, Anna touched many people's hearts and will deeply be missed. Anna had the kindest soul, she always had compassion in her heart and patience for the world. She embodied the motherly role of a strong, supremely loving and beautiful woman. Anna was very creative as she loved knitting and often made hats for premature babies at the local hospital. She loved music, enjoyed reading and gardening. Anna will forever be in our hearts. A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at the Scott Funeral Home - Brampton Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Bethell Hospice in Inglewood would be greatly appreciated. Manuela was born on February 25th, 1968 in Santa Barbara, Terceira, Azores, Portugal, to Maria Elvira Bertao and Jose Emanuel Vieira. She attended Father Henry Carr and graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Seneca College where she developed her career as a dental hygienist. She is preceded in death by her sister, Mafalda Do Natal Bertao Vieira. Her beautiful life and spirit will forever be cherished in the l i ves of her daughters : Bianca Silva and Rheanna Silva, her partner Greg Halper and the many family and friends who loved her.
