RE TA I L VALUE $85 L IM I T ED ED I T ION In honour of decades spent serving Halton Hills through numerous initia- tives, longtime resident Gerry Kentner received the Georgetown Lions Club Citizen of the Year award for 2017 on Tuesday evening. The award was presented to Kentn- er at a ceremony held at the Mold-Mas- ters Sportsplex on April 24. Kentner was congratulated by a number of town representatives and acknowledged for her many years making an impact on Halton Hills residents. Kentner began volunteering in the community as a teenager and has not stopped since. Her most notable pro- ject to date is the Light Up the Hills Fes- tival, which takes place in Georgetown, Acton and Glen Williams each Decem- ber.
