All About PETS ADOPTABLEPETSOFTHEWEEK... Meet San, our Siberian sweetheart San is a beautiful, sweet and en- ergetic 5-year-old husky/Shiba mix. This lively girl has cream coloured fur and warm dark eyes, and will greet you with a bark and a bounce to say hello! San was previously awaiting adop- tion with a husky rescue and came to the Upper Credit Humane Society when the rescue facilitator needed to move out of the country. San, who is spayed, chipped, and up to date on her vaccinations, eagerly awaits her perfect family to ease her into new routines with patience and love, and understand that she may be a little apprehensive of strangers, especially in her home, and slightly nervous in new situations. San loves to play and burn off some energy - her orange ball is her favou- rite! She does well on walks and is easy to handle on a leash. Due to her spir- ited yet slightly hesitant personality, she will do best in a quieter home with no young children, and a home with- out cats. She usually gets along well with feline friends, but not 100% of the time. San would pair well with other submissive dogs, preferably male, and she does well with dogs outside the home with supervision. If you're ready to fall in love, come meet our gorgeous sweetheart San at the Upper Credit Humane Society! Her kittens were old enough to be moved to another foster allow- ing Yoko to be spayed, gain weight and relax. Now she is comfortable and con- fident in her foster home and makes no effort to return outdoors. Yoko is approximately a year old - a happy playful cat, delighted to have toys to toss or to play chase with her fe- line friends. She seeks attention from people, asking politely to be noticed but not demanding. Yoko enjoys be- ing picked up for snuggles, a look out the window, some neck and cheek scratches then back to playing. Although Yoko was extremely thin when found, she does not overeat and when she shows interest in people food she is easily moved away. She is clean with her litter box, al- lows her nails to be trimmed (this is something new for her) and enjoys her scratching posts. Yoko would fit into almost any home. She is adaptable, intelligent and good natured. Yoko (and Foxie) will be available for adoption this Sat. at Pet Valu, 375 Mountainview Rd. South from 2:00-4:00. The $160 cash adoption fee includes: vaccinations, parasite treatments, spaying, micro- chip and a bag of food. For more info visit www.NHKR.ca or call Barb 905- 873-8547 What is a bubble tent?
