Crime stoppers of Hal- ton is expanding their scope to assist in fighting crimes against nature and animals. The Canadian Crime Stoppers Association has signed an agreement with Environment and Climate Change Canada, who are looking to fight poaching and infringement on feder- ally protected wildlife. Wildlife crime is said to be the fourth most lucra- tive enterprise in the world, trailing behind the illegal drug trade, human trafficking and counter- feiting. The new agreement partners with over 87 Crime Stoppers programs across Canada.
