Students were recognized for demonstrating outstanding qualities in more than one of the following areas: academic, vocational, athletic, self-improvement, community work, citizenship and student leadership. Kyle MacDonald Georgetown District High School Kyle is a strong student academi- cally, taking IB Art and Biology and maintaining a high average in math and science subjects. He feels passionately about the environment and wants to make a positive mark on the planet. His goal is to design and create something to make the world a better place. Kyle is an exceptional athlete who exempli� es true sportsman- ship. He is dedicated, hard-working and pushes himself beyond his own personal limits. He has been a key member of the Senior boy's Cross-Country and Alpine Ski teams where he competed at OFSAA. Anna Humber Acton District High School Anna is a kind, conscientious student who is committed to helping others. She is a leader in the school's French and So- cial Sciences departments and is involved in many extracur- riculars including stage man- aging plays, directing Sears and playing the lead role in Romeo and Juliet. Anna wants to know the world and she has an infectious can-do attitude. She is supportive of fellow students, is positive, mature and always helpful. In a group, she takes on a leadership role and encourages everyone to do their best. Riley supports all aspects of the school community without being asked. Benjamin Macor Ethel Gardiner Public School Ben is a well-rounded student with a contagious smile and positive attitude toward learning. He works hard to achieve his aca- demic goals by facing new challenges with curiosity, determination, perseverance. He is kind, respectful and thoughtful and is a quiet leader amongst his peers.
