Here are five highlights about the Georgetown Hos- pital in the report. 1) The Georgetown Hos- pital Foundation has raised enough money through their Project X campaign to purchase a mini c-arm, a portable X-ray unit and a digital X-ray machine. They have a fundraising goal of $1.5 million this year. 2) C difficile infection rates are below the provin- cial average across the Hal- ton group of hospitals and hand washing rates are 80 per cent in compliance. 3) Halton Healthcare made a profit of $1.7 million in 2017, up from $1.4 the pre- vious year. 4) Accreditation Canada gave Halton Healthcare an exemplary standing rating in 2017. 5) Part of Halton Health- care's strategic plan, Path- way 2020 includes capital investments in the emer- gency and Diagnostic Imag- ing departments at George- town Hospital.
