Cywink, along with his assistant Wes Brew- er, visited the Acton school for two weeks, joining forces with the students to design and create a colourful hall- way mural. The mural incorpo- rates the seven grandfa- ther teachings as well as actions related to truth and reconciliation, in- cluding honouring and respecting the land. The 50-hour project was funded in part by the Ontario Arts Council program, entitled Indig- enous Artists in Schools.
