NEWS HDSB HOSTING HUMAN RIGHTS SYMPOSIUM IN DECEMBER A Georgetown man has died following a single-vehicle crash involving a utility ter- rain vehicle in Gravenhurst. Bracebridge OPP were called to the scene of an accident on Blackfly Boulevard, outside the town of Gravenhurst, at approx- imately 8 p.m. on Sept. 18. Two individuals were transported to hospital: The driver with non-life threaten- ing injuries, as well as the passenger, 58- year-old Keith Vaters, from Georgetown. Vaters was pronounced dead in hospital. "It's still under investigation as to the cause of the collision," said Const. Jessica Drake, of the Bracebridge OPP detach- ment. "The passenger sustained fatal inju- ries and succumbed to the injuries in hospi- tal." Police have not laid any charges in rela- tion to the incident.
