The Sept. 30 fundraiser at the Gellert Community Centre saw participants walk or run one of two routes in support of the local hospital. Participants also had the opportunity to meet sledge hockey champion Tyler McGregor, of the RBC Olympians team, as well as take part in a number of activities and attractions, including a photo booth, giant sandbox, live DJ, art station and vendor fair. All proceeds from the event will be directed toward the purchase of a new digital X-ray suite for Georgetown Hospital.
